Marie Fages is a nomad set designer and filmmaker. Trained at the Academy of Fine Arts in Rome and the National School of Decorative Arts in Paris, she designs theater, film and installation sets in various countries. Passionate about places and the stories that resonate within them, she directed two short fiction films. La Promenade d'Electre is an adaptation of Electre in the meanders of La Défense in Paris, Les Marées Blanches (produced by the G.R.E.C.) is a tale inspired by and shot in the ruins of East Berlin. The landscapes and the language of ïle de la Réunion inspired this third film.
