I made the trip on a cargo to the North-Coast of St-Laurent river and I stopped on Anticosti island. It has 200 inhabitants and 150000 deers. The island is famous for its shipwrecks. Who are the ones who come to live here today? What are they fleeing? What are they looking for? And me, what was I searching?

Claire Legendre is a French writer born in Nice in 1979. She is the author of a dozen books, including the novels Meat, The Stanislavski Method, The Living Skin, and Truth and Love, published by Grasset editions. In Canada, she published an essay, Le Nénuphar et l'Araignée (Éditions les Allusives). She was a resident at Villa Medicis and since 2011, she has been a professor of creative writing at the University of Montreal. Bermuda (North) is his first feature film.
