Vincent Toi is a Canadian filmmaker of Mauritian origin. His films address the complexity of human relationships on post-colonial islands. His latest short film, The Scream of the Lambi (2017) had its world premiere in competition at the Berlinale Shorts before being presented at more than thirty festivals. Vincent won the award for best Canadian short film director at the Vancouver International Film Festival in 2017.
