Don't miss your chance to see this film on the big screen! Here is a word from Mediafilm, which gives it a score of 3 (very good):

A look at contemporary Haitian society. Sensory exploration of a polychrome culture. Collage of artistic performances. Definitely, this second solo feature film by Iranian-born Québecois Kaveh Nabatian is as elusive as its subject. However, the expert cinematography, the captivating choreography, the captivating voice of author Wood-Jerry Gabriel and the wild music make KITE ZO-A a unique and fascinating immersive experience. In addition to its aesthetics, its enlightening testimonies and its lyrical impulses, the film seduces by the skill with which the director of SIN LA HABANA transcribes in images and sounds the soul of a bruised but resilient people. Addressing the unfathomable extent of Haitian spirituality was a difficult challenge. Nabatian picked it up brilliantly.
