After studying plastic arts, François Vautier became a contemporary art broker. He then turned to audiovisual design and worked for Arte with Guy Saguez. Together, they continue a long collaboration for television channels. Constantly looking for new processes, in 2016 he directed “I SAW THE FUTURE “, a stereoscopic VR film produced by Da Prod, presented in an official selection at the Venice Film Festival in 2017, and broadcast on the ARTE VR 360 platform and on ARTE for the 2D version. The film was distributed at more than 50 festivals around the world. In 2019, he directed “ODYSSEY 1.4.9”, a VR tribute to Stanley Kubrick's masterpiece, and designed the CNES pavilion for the International Aeronautics and Space Show, in which he also presented a hologram adaptation of the movie I Saw The Future. In 2020, he directed “RECODING ENTROPIA”, selected at the Venice Biennale.
