Yassmina Karajah is a Jordanian-Palestinian director living in Canada. She is an alumnus of the University of Bristol Law School and a film production graduate from the University of British Columbia. Her short film, Light (2014), was selected at TIFF, the AFI Film Festival, the Dubai International Film Festival, and the Melbourne International Film Festival, and was part of Telefilm Canada's Not Short on Talent selection at the Berlinale '15, where she was named one of ten Canadian women to watch.
