A native of Southern Cross, a remote rural town in Western Australia, Cody Fern first ventured into the performing arts through theatre, directing critically acclaimed productions such as the National Theatre's “Warhorse.” He received the Heath Ledger Scholarship in 2014 and has lived in the United States ever since.
