Jean-François is a multidisciplinary artist who graduated from the École Supérieure de Théâtre de l'UQAM in 2006. Since then, he has participated in numerous stage works as a performer, video designer, set designer, director and/or author. In 2017, he founded his interdisciplinary creative company OPTIKX, with which he produced several shows. As a filmmaker, he has produced and directed several short films, including Nyctophobia, which was also adapted on stage in October 2021. He also has to his credit a feature film called Toujours Encore, released in 2016. With a master's degree in German studies and having begun a doctorate in comparative literature, he is very interested in research and his exploratory works always have a documentary aspect.
