Laure Giappiconi trained at the École nationale supérieure des arts et techniques du théâtre (ENSATT).

As an actress, she favors productions in which she plays an active role, usually from the writing stage. Recently, she played in Denis Côté's Un été comme ça, in official competition at Berlinale 2022, and Lucie Borleteau's À mon seul désir, to whose screenplay she contributed.

She also writes shows, performances and films. Tandis que je respire encore, co-directed with La Fille Renne and Elisa Monteil, was presented in 2020 at the Sundance and Rotterdam festivals. With Romy Alizée, she directed the “Romy & Laure” trilogy of short films (Le secret de l'Homme Meuble, Le mystère du Plug Enchanté, Happées par le Trou Spatio-Temporel! ).

Her first novel, Et d'abord le regard, was published in May 2021 by Éditions Anne Carrière.
